Melissa & Brad :: Founder's Chapel, USD

I'd never shot at Founder's Chapel, so visited ahead of the wedding. I always visually pre-plan the shoot, and if I've never been, I'll always visit the venue before the wedding day. The wedding was solemn, but the couple kept it light. I used a long lens under available light to capture their small talk at the altar. Immediately afterwards, I took the couple to a stairwell nearby with beautiful, diffuse light. Great results!
The reception was filled with great emotion and excellent live music.
